A Perfect Post Award for Me... Wow!

Mom101 has honored me with a Perfect Post Award for my "Respecting Diversity" blog post.

Yes, you read that right... THE Mom101. The one whose writing is far more thoughtful, entertaining and downright hilarious than mine could ever be. I'm so not worthy.

She's lucky she lives on the opposite coast, because oh my god I could just give her the biggest bear hug right now!

A Perfect Post

THE mom101? Ha, who knew there was such a thing. I'm returning the hug virtually, if such a thing is possible.

I just read the post and was it great and true. Maine is as undiverse as Oregon, except for Portland, where we live. And that is a blessing. Our schools are truly diverse.

My college roommate was a wonderful African-American woman. I learned many valuable lessons from her. We did clash on occasion, but we were always able to work it out.

Cangrats on a Perfect Post.

Congratulations! And what a supremely cool blog you have. I think we have an amazing number of links in common, and yet I've never stumbled across your blog until now. It feels like a parallel universe moment. I found you via Squidoo. Ann

I'm late with the congratulations - but, CONGRATS. I read the post last week but couldn't comment (hands full o' baby) - it really was deserving of a PP award. Mom101 has taste!
